Are you an advanced beginner or intermediate surfer wanting to take your surfing to the next level? Join us at Salty Surf Popoyo for a week of coaching from Emeline who has progressed one of our own from the Surf ATL community, Susan Bond!

Can you easily catch unbroken waves? Are you ready to refine your turns? Perhaps you still struggle with your take off when waves get a bit steeper or bigger? Do you lack confidence and technique when the waves get a little bit bigger? Do you feel overwhelmed by crowds and trying to catch waves when you’re surrounded by better surfers? Does your fear of wipe-outs block you?
- Cost is $1,700 for the week and includes:
- 3 daily meals and snacks
- 2 surfing lessons filmed per day
- Coaching and analysis from Emeline
- Ground transportation
- The cost does not include:
- Airline tickets
- Board
- Insurance
A typical surf coaching day with me includes:
- 6:30 am – breakfast
- 7:30am – surf session
- 10:00am – video analysis
- 10:30 -11:30am – workshop
- 12:00pm – Lunch
- 3:00-5:00pm – surf session
- 6:30pm – video analysis
- 7:30pm – dinner
Exact times of this schedule may change depending on weather conditions, tides, and surf spots.
Additional Trip Details
- This will be a small group trip as we will only be taking five surfers to allow for hands on training from Emeline
- We will ask registrants to fill out a surfer profile form to ensure the trip is right for you
- Once registered, we can help line up flights and times for travelers!
- A major part of surf travel is learning and adapting to the local culture so we will expect you to be respectful of fellow surfers, travelers, and locals.
