Playa Grande, Costa Rica Trip: Tuesday, 7/19 thru Sunday, 7/24

Join us for five days of surf, Pura Vida, and community as we head to Playa Grande, Costa Rica! Check out the details below and reserve your spot! Space is limited!

Trip Cost

• The cost includes lodging and we will be staying at Sugars Monkey which is a vibrant hotel just steps away from miles of Playa Grande's beaches and waves. Each room has air conditioning, ambient fans, free wi-fi, and a private bathroom with a shower and hot water.
• The cost includes transportation from and to Liberia Airport or Tamarindo Airport in Costa Rica.
• The cost includes an excursion to Witches Rock, an iconic surf spot. 

• Flight from Atlanta to Liberia Airport or Tamarindo Airport in Costa Rica. There are direct flights from Atlanta to Liberia Airport. There are no direct flights from Atlanta to Tamarindo Airport; you would have to fly into San Jose and transfer via Sansa Air, a domestic Costa Rican airline.
• Board rentals (options here and here)
• Meals (estimate $20-30/day)
• Other tours/lessons

• We expect all travelers to fly into Liberia Airport (LIR) or Tamarindo Airport in order to arrange ground transportation from the airport on 7/19 and to the airport on 7/24. If you decide to come a different way or time, reach out to spbroome@surf-atl.com.
• All rooms are first-come, first-serve and we will be collecting a 50% deposit by May 31.
• We welcome all abilities and we can help find the right spot for your abilities but forecasts are always fluid so size, conditions, and ability will play a part in whether you surf out front or another spot.
• A major part of surf travel is learning and adapting to the local culture so we will expect you to be respectful of fellow surfers, travelers, and locals.
